2026 Season Opener Love Hurts Shasta Roller Derby

Supporting Redding Amateur Wrestling Club

At every Shasta Roller Derby home game, a portion of ticket proceeds is donated to a local nonprofit organization chosen by our skaters.

For Love Hurts, we’re proud to support Redding Amateur Wrestling Club (RAWC).

RAWC makes a lasting impact on local youth by building confidence, discipline, and resilience through sport. Their commitment to mentorship, accessibility, and athlete development mirrors the values that drive Shasta Roller Derby as a skater-run nonprofit league.

While the financial contribution from each game is modest, we believe meaningful support also comes from visibility, connection, and community amplification. By sharing our platform, we help introduce RAWC to new audiences and strengthen local sports culture beyond a single event.

When you buy a ticket, you’re backing local athletes — on skates and on the mat.

DERBY DOESN’T ROLL WITHOUT YOU.

It takes over 40 volunteers to bring every bout to life—ticket takers, track tapers, beer pourers, concessions crew, non-skating and skating officials, and more. We’re always looking for helping hands to keep game day running smooth. And if volunteering isn’t your jam, you can still support SRD through sponsorships that help keep roller derby rolling in Shasta County.
