THE 2026 SEASON
Shasta Roller Derby is a skater-run, full-contact, flat track roller derby league based in Shasta County. We’re a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, we’re WFTDA-affiliated, and we’ve been doing this since 2010, but the part that actually matters is that the people who run this league are the same people who lace up next to each other every Sunday morning. There is no front office. Just us.
2026 is the next year of building what we’ve built. A new skater program bringing fresh faces onto the track. Co-captains who’ve been with this league since the beginning. New partnerships with the businesses and people who make derby possible in Shasta County. And a season’s worth of bouts, training, and showing up for each other ahead of us.

If you’ve ever watched a bout and thought I want to do that — or if you’ve never watched one and the idea just won’t leave you alone — our new skater program is how you start. No experience needed, loaner gear available, and a built-in community of people ready to teach you everything.
2026 SEASON CAPTAINS
Goody Two Screws and Vonda Kut-a-Vitch are teaming up as co-captains for the 2026 season. Both helped found Shasta Roller Derby and have been with the league since its earliest days — traveling, competing, and building this team alongside countless skaters who came through over the years. Their experience and dedication set the tone on and off the track.
