About Our Partnership
Why the library? Because libraries and roller derby have more in common than you might think. Both are built by the community, for the community. Both are spaces where anyone is welcome, no matter who they are or where they’re coming from. And both are places where curiosity, learning, and connection thrive.
By supporting the Shasta Lake Gateway Library, we’re helping to keep curiosity alive, inspire a love of reading, and strengthen the community that makes roller derby possible. A portion of this game’s proceeds will be donated directly to the library—and we’re exploring additional ways to give back (like a possible book drive, so stay tuned!).

It takes over 40 volunteers to bring every bout to life—ticket takers, track tapers, beer pourers, concessions crew, non-skating and skating officials, and more. We’re always looking for helping hands to keep game day running smooth.
